Lending a hand for a greener future

Plastic packaging is elemental to day to day life, yet it is one of the most wasteful examples of our economy and environment.

Accelerating change to this will create more effective dynamics to the system and will also transform from a linear to a circular economy.

Approximately 15 million tonnes of plastic end up into oceans and approximately 300 million tonnes of plastic produced by the world in 2015 & 330 million tonnes in 2016 costing billions in environmental damage and loss of marine life.

Every day approximately 8 million pieces of plastic pollution find their way into our oceans. There may now be around 5.25 trillion macro and micro plastic pieces floating in the open ocean. Weighing up to 269,000 tonnes. Plastics consistently make up 60 to 90% of all marine debris studied.

To re-design and change the way, we offer an advanced polymer which is specifically formulated to generate high performance properties for a variety of technical applications whilst having a range of end of life options depending on the application and inherently non-toxic. It’s strength and flexibility makes it valuable for many types of applications in the food manufacturing and medical markets, as well as an ideal choice for high performance packaging.

Our polymers are non-toxic, marine-safe and soluble in warm or hot water

An alternative to single use plastic

An alternative to single use plastic

Our polymers are highly functional, non-toxic and marine safe that can be replaced with any hard to recycle, non-degradable commodity plastics. The pollution caused by these hydrophobic plastics which are sitting in our landfills, floating in our oceans is an increasing concern. This can be tackled by using our versatile polymers which can eliminate single use plastic problem and to promote circular economy.
Better for the environment

Better for the environment

Our polymers are inherently biodegradable. When given the right balance of environment and microbial presence it will biodegrade into carbon dioxide, water and mineralised biomass. It's soluble in water with multiple end of life options and demonstrated to be completely safe in the environment.
Easier to recycle

Easier to recycle

Our polymers not only give the necessary functionality to the product but also offer two direct recovery options. A combination of polymer and paper/paperboard can be re-pulped into its entirety in a standard paper recovery process. Our polymers can be hot washed to remove it allowing clean paper/paperboard to be recycled. Finally our polymers can be fully recovered within existing waste management facilities.
